The Lunar Payload Delivery Service delivers payloads to TLI, lunar orbit, lunar surface and on surface mobility.

  • 1. NOVA-C

    Delivery

Nova-C is a lunar lander designed by the private company Intuitive Machines to deliver small commercial payloads to the surface of the Moon.

    • Landed Payload capacity 130kg
    • Ability to deploy 375 kg (100 km circular lunar orbit)
    • Ability to deploy up to 1,000 kg into a 185km x 380,000 km TLI orbit

    2. LUVMI-X

    Mobility

The Lunar Volatiles Mobile Instrumentation (LUVMI) rover family provides a smart, low mass, innovative, modular and extendable platform designed to accommodate payloads and provide payload mobility on the Moon.

    • Maximum all up mass 50-80kg depending on configuration and mission
    • Maximum payload mass 25-40kg depending on configuration and mission
    • Range 10+km
    • PSR capable

    3. micro-NOVA Hopper

    Rugged Locations

A deployable robotic hopper to provide scientific instrument access to extreme environments on the lunar surface. This system reuses Nova-C landing instruments as part of a detachable micro spacecraft.

    • 25km range
    • 1kg payload (or with shorter range, this can be expanded to 8kg)

  • 4. Ground Segment

    • Payload integration and operations in Europe and/or USA
    • Lander operations control in USA
    • Rover operations control in Europe
    • Communications network providing payload command and monitoring globally
