Space Applications Services NV/SA is an independent Belgian company founded in 1987, with a subsidiary in Houston, USA.
Our aim is to research and develop innovative systems, solutions and products and provide services to the aerospace and security markets and related industries. Our activities cover manned and unmanned spacecraft, launch/re-entry vehicles, control centres, robotics and a wide range of information systems.

Our team of highly qualified and experienced engineers originating from many different countries take a broad view of projects and bring world class excellence to our work. A quarter of our staff has doctorates and our engineers have degrees from the best universities in Europe, the USA and further afield.

For ten years the company capability and turnover has been increasing. Specialisation and selective diversification have been contributory factors to this growth and every year significant investment is made in research and development to continue this growth.

Over the preceding decade the company capabilities and turnover have been steadily increasing. Specialisation and selective diversification have been contributory factors to this growth and every year significant investment is made in research and development to continue this growth.

The company takes responsibility for the complete project life-cycle from establishing customer needs, designing and selecting the most appropriate technology, assembling the best team to implement the project solution and, in some cases, operating the system for the customer.

The company has a strong focus on Research and Development with partners across Europe, in the United States of America and in the Russian Federation. We welcome opportunities for national and international research collaboration.

    Specify, design, develop, integrate and deliver mission critical systems, robotic systems, ground segments, command and control centres and spacecraft payloads.
