On 28 July 2022, a new lab extension was officially opened by the Managing Director Richard Aked at Space Applications Services headquarters in Brussels.
Observing the existing lab, and also looking at a commercial future with numerous space projects, Space Applications Services undertook to extend the laboratory to accommodate its business needs as it takes and makes its place in the New Space economy.
