As we are a leading provider of solutions for space systems, we understand that the backbone of our success lies in the reliability, security, and efficiency of our System Administration. Our IT System Administration Team aims to ensure a seamless operation of our technological infrastructure including the maintenance and optimisation of our digital ecosystem.

Internship Position

We are looking for a motivated IT System Administration Intern to join our System Administration team. This internship focuses on validating and testing new IT setups, systems, and configurations before they are deployed into production environments. You will work closely with system administrators and engineers to ensure reliability, security, and performance standards are met across various IT solutions.

  • Location: Sint-Stevens-Woluwe (Brussels Area)

  • Duration: 3 to 6 months

  • Start date: As of June 2026.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and configuring test environments that replicate production systems

  • Test new IT infrastructure setups, including servers, networks, and system configurations

  • Execute test plans and document results, issues, and improvement recommendations

  • Perform system validation checks (performance, stability, security, and compatibility)

  • Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues

  • Support automation and documentation of testing procedures

Skills and Experience

  • Assist in setting up and configuring test environments that replicate production systems

  • Test new IT infrastructure setups, including servers, networks, and system configurations

Our Offer

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems and computer networking (IP, routing, firewalls, wireless networking)

  • Interest in:

    • Virtualisation, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

    • Storage technologies

    • Cyber security

    • Automation (Ansible)

  • Good written and spoken English.
